BISI Summer Camp is a vibrant, inclusive community dedicated to providing a high-quality summer enrichment experience for every child. We believe that summer is the perfect time for discovery and growth. Our programs are designed to empower campers to build practical life skills, independence, and self-confidence through hands-on learning.

 

OuR purpose

Set within our beautiful green campus our programs provide a safe, supportive environment where children are encouraged to explore. We are dedicated to fostering a nurturing space that focuses on:

• Flexibility & Decision-Making: We empower our campers to shape their own journey, providing frequent opportunities to choose activities based on their unique interests.

• Independence & Self-Esteem: Our staff encourages children to take initiative and solve problems, helping them grow into self-directed, confident individuals.

• Social & Cross-Cultural Skills: In our diverse community, campers build lasting friendships with peers from around the globe, fostering empathy and cultural awareness.

A Truly International Setting

BISI Summer Camp is a fully English-speaking program, yet our heart is global. We proudly welcome students from all schools, nationalities, and backgrounds.​

A Note on Language: We believe every child deserves an amazing summer regardless of their language level. Campers do not need to be proficient in English to join our community and thrive. Our nurturing staff is experienced in supporting children from all linguistic backgrounds.

Our staff & Director

Our team consists of certified teachers, athletic coaches, and university students majoring in education or psychology. With extensive experience and a deep commitment to every camper’s growth, our English-fluent staff is dedicated to creating a truly meaningful summer experience for all children.

 

Our summer team is led by Director Ashley Vaccaro. A Boston native, Ashley has been an integral part of the BISI Summer programs for the last four years. During the academic year, she serves as a school leader and brings a wealth of expertise to our programs, holding both a Master’s in Teaching and a Doctorate in Education. Ashley’s connection to the camp is personal, too—all three of her children are BISI campers!​​
