What are camp hours?
Our camp day runs from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
To ensure a smooth transition at the end of the day, we begin our coordinated pick-up process at 3:45 pm.

what should my camper pack each day?
Campers are asked to bring a backpack with the following items to camp each day:
1 Reusable water bottle
Hat
Sun cream
Backpack
Towel
Swimsuit and swim cap
Spare change of clothing (for younger campers)
what should we avoid packing?
For the safety and wellbeing of all campers, following items are not allowed:
Candy and chewing gum
Iphones, tablets, and smartwatches
Money and valuable items
Toys
Food from home
WHICH LANGUAGE IS SPOKEN AT BISI SUMMER camp?
At BISI, we provide a fully immersive English-speaking environment. English is the primary language used across all activities, allowing campers to naturally develop their language skills while they play and explore.
WHAT IF MY CHILD DOESN'T SPEAK ENGLISH?
We welcome children of all language backgrounds and do not require English proficiency to join the fun. To ensure your child has the best experience possible, we simply ask that they can communicate their basic needs to our supportive staff.
is food provided?
Yes! BISI Summer Programs provide a hot lunch, morning and afternoon snack each day. Our summer menu can be found here. All food is fresh, delicious and cooked on site each day. Our kitchen staff is happy to prepare food to accommodate camper food allergies as needed. Please note that for the safety of those with food allergies, food from home is not permitted.
WHERE IS BISI SUMMER camp?
BISI Summer Camp is held at the British International School campus in Zekeriyaköy. You can read more about our campus here.
Is there a BUS SERVICE? WHAT ARE THE FEES?
BISI Summer Camp works with an outsourced company to provide bus service for campers. This is an additional fee. The buses serve many parts of the European side of Istanbul. For more information click here.
WHAT IS THE CAMP PHONE POLICY?
To foster a fully immersive experience and a distraction-free environment, BISI Summer Camp does not permit camper use of cell phones or smartwatches. We ask that these items remain at home so that campers can engage fully with our programs and one another. Should you need to reach your child during the day, our camp office is always available at +90 537 645 8091 to assist you.

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY FOR 2026?
PAYMENTS

Must be paid in full at time of registration.

Must be made prior to the start of the registered camp session. Payment will NOT be accepted on arrival day.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
We recognize that sometimes plans change and you must withdraw your child from camp.
We accept session changes free of charge. Cancellations and reductions in registrations must be made in writing and are subject to the following:​

Between March 1st and June 1st-cancellation fee for Camp will be $150 per camper/session

No refunds shall be given after June 1st-cancellations after this date will result in complete forfeiture of camp fees
No refund, reduction of fees or credit will be granted for late arrival, early departure, withdrawal, or dismissal. ​

MEDICAL CANCELLATION
Should you need to cancel your registration on medical grounds we ask that you provide a signed medical note from your Doctor and that you contact either the Summer Camp Director or Summer Camp Registrar directly to discuss the cancellation. In a case of major illness, injury, or serious family situation while at camp, refunds will be provided minus administrative fees and the days spent at camp.
DO YOU HAVE A HEALTH CARE PROVIDER ON SITE?
Yes! There is a full-time nurse on site during camp hours. All of our staff trained in First Aid, with many staff members having CPR certification.
WHAT HAPPENS AT CAMP DURING INCLEMENT or extreme WEATHER?
We are fortunate to have access to indoor facilities. Our activities run as scheduled on rainy days with an alternate activity location as needed. On hot days, we pay close attention to the heat index and alter activities accordingly.
Our team is comprised of caring, energetic counselors that are all teachers, teacher assistants, or sports coaches during the academic year. All counselors are fluent in English and enthusiastic about providing all campers with an incredible summer experience! You can learn more about our team here.
